traveling with books-on-audio

On our trip to the sunny south we discovered a great way to
"Enjoy a little help making the miles go by"

Here's How it Works
1. Buy a Books-On-Audio CD at Cracker Barrel.
2. When you’re done, simply return it to any Cracker Barrel.
They’ll refund the purchase price, minus $3.49 for each week you've had it.
3. Do it again!

We had planned on bringing a book from our local library and then mailing it back but this turned out to be an even better option.

You've gotta love Cracker Barrel! I sure wish we had them here. I love to go visit them when we are traveling. What a great thing to do! Greg and I have listened to books on tape, on long drives. It is a great way to pass the time when you have to be in the car for a long time!
Hugs,
Kris

What a great idea! We travel at least once a year to Houston from California. We will definately be doing this on our next trip! That looks like a great series...let us all know how you like it! :)

We don't have a Cracker Barrel!
But if we did...

Send pictures of the sun, surf and sand!

I agree with you, this is a very nice convenience that Cracker Barrel offers. We would use this system sometimes when we would travel the 9 hour trip to see our daughter, when she was in college. It sure does make the time go faster. Happy travels!
