market bags

Sewing market bags for friends, family and gifts is one of my passions.
I have been missing sewing these lately.
It is good to be at it again.
They come in pairs.

Peek-a-Blue

Batik Turtles

Celebration ~ I Do
Like Clockwork

Spots in Spots

Early to Bed

These bags are large enough to hold five boxes of cereal!

Enough funky fabric for thirty more bags . . .

I am always surprised which bags people choose.
Would you choose pretty or funky?

These are great! So much nicer than the ones you can buy at the grocery stores! Wow... you used a lot of different fabrics! I like pretty and funky! :)

Did you come up with this pattern?
They are very clever the way they expand and fold up.

So all that "humming" I heard was your sewing machine?

I love all of them! I'm a bagaholic.

Love them, too! Just like Dayle I am a bagaholic! I love using fabric bags instead of the plastic bags at the store. They hold so much more and don't have to worry about the bottom falling out! Did you make the pattern?
Wonderful :)

Oh, those are so cute!! I would probably choose pretty, although I DID get and love a zebra print market basket from my girls for Mother's Day.

I guess that make me pretty funky.

I saw your note on my blog about the aprons. Thanks for coming by! I'm heading to your May 1 post to read all about that book you mentioned.

Might take me a while to get there because I'm going to enjoy site seeing here first!

Wow, that's a lot of bags. I think the more fun and funky the better! They look like a terrific size.
