vaporub

I recently went to a dermatologist for a small rash on my foot. While treating it the doctor told me a hint that he gives to all his patients.  He says painting your toenails with menthol Vick's Vaoprub ointment everyday will keep them from drying out and help them stay healthy.

Have you ever heard of such a thing?

Guess I will give it a try until my next pedicure and see what happens.

I have heard that this treats toenail fungus. I like the smell of the Vicks too!! Worth doing, for sure!

I just read yesterday about it being the best thing for toenail fungus. My Harry has fungus on one big toenail and we even had a prescription pill he took for it with no results. Can't wait to try it on him!

And as a beauty treatment? Who knew? ha.

What an interesting tip. Of course I'm going to try it!

Just a little something from Judy said...

Many people in our part of the country, rub Vick's Vapor Rub on the bottom of the feet when they are experiencing a nasty sinus cold. They vow that this makes a big difference. But, now I know a new way to use this product. Thanks for sharing.

I love vicks, never painted my toenails with it, but I bet it works. Vicks isn't near as strong as it used to be, I miss that. I even called the company and asked them why they changed it. You used to put it on and could smell it all night, and the next day, now you have to keep putting it on. But I like it anyway. always have it on hand.

How did someone come up with this idea. Crazy!
But hey, if it works, I'm in.

By the way, cute toes. I don't see any sand in between them, though. I think you need to go to the beach soon. : )
