I come to the sea . . .

A surprise gift arrived just before Christmas
from a fellow blogger whom I now consider a friend.

How fun that I get to have my morning
coffee everyday in this thoughtful gift.

Thank you Christine for your kindness
and for keeping us "connected".

Christine is one of my favorite bloggers! You can so easily read her heart in her posts. She's the kind of person I would want to know in the real world.

Also, I'm sorry to be so late getting back to blog land. I have been trying to play catch up ever since getting home and not doing a good job of it.

You asked about the envelope on the dashboard in a recent post of mine.
That's my husband's mileage counter and expense envelope. I snapped that shot in the driveway before he recorded it to head out of town. He moved it.

That was actually an old photo from a previous post when I traveled with him on business. I just reused it 'cause I like pictures on posts.

To my dear blogging friend, your beautiful gift arrived today! I can't tell you how it brightened my day. I also want you to know that I have admired your sewing projects and am thankful that I now have one of those beautiful projects for my own. Thank you so much! It was a very special gift!
