pumpkins and apples

It is fun to hang on to childhood traditions.

Some times the cocoa is replaced by a beer.

Multi tasking: Let's make some apple sauce as well.

Some times the cider is replaced by wine.

Next: a fire to warm us up

Happy Halloween!

It looks like you're having an amazing time! Be sure to have someone take pictures of you too. It's nice to have pics of yourself and who knows, you may need an alibi.

Thanks for sharing this cute post! I wonder if any of that wine or beer ended up in the applesauce?

Happy Halloween to you too! :)

Would you believe it if I told you that I carved my first pumpkin somewhere around my early twenties. It's true.

Looks like you had a lot of fun...

Enjoy your weekend.

Getting to "play" with your older kids is fun.
It's almost like the playing field in equal.
You can be child like again and the kids can be adults.
Great pumpkins!

What a fun way to celebrate Halloween and family. They did a great job carving the pumpkins. Applesauce smells so good when it is cooking, and curling up by the fire is the best.
