guaranteed

Gotta love the Tervis Tumbler guarantee.
They replaced  9 of our glasses today
that were etched or cloudy.

If you stop by I’ll serve you a cold beverage in one.

collections

Throughout our marriage we have been collectors.

{baskets, candlesticks, tins, wooden bowls, R. Atkinson Fox prints, aprons, scrabble games,
quilts, grapes,watermelons, rocking horses, vintage table cloths, gurley candles, snowmen}

Although it was fun at the time - now what do we do with it all?

As a child my mother collected for me . . .
buttons and miniature lamps.

What shall I do with all of them?

Advice to my children: Don't collect anything!

Oh - and get rid of all those things Grandma collected for you
{clowns, ducks, horses, sheep}

corked

For Christmas last year our daughter-in-law's
parents gave us this charming wine-cork basket.
Ten months later it was full, emptied and ready for round two.

I wonder if we drink more wine than the average person?
One glass a day with dinner and two at Wine-on-Wednesdays.

I have saved the corks because surely
there must be a creative use for them.
Any ideas?

Thank you Tim and Tami!
