british columbia

Today we bid farewell to this family
as they begin their move to British Columbia.
It has been a month that went by way too fast . . .

this could be an endless job

loving "old" Fisher Price toys

a visit from the amazing lady
who cared for our children while we worked
it is such a blessing to know her

one last sleep in Grandma Mary and Pa Jim's room

a new adventure begins

such mixed emotions

about two miles out of town Cedar said to his mother
"It takes so long to get to Canada"

You will miss them, and on the map it looks a terrible long ways away. When you make the trip to visit, I hope you'll make Victoria a stop. I would be very happy to show you around our beautiful city on Vancouver Island.
Wishing the little family a safe journey from your part of the world to ours.

Oh how heavy hearted you must be today! I have been here catching up, and am shocked that I have missed so many posts!!!! I am a bit confused though. I see that the kids are moving to BC, but it appears that perhaps you are moving from your family home as well? What special photos you have captured of the time the grands have spent with you. Sweet, sweet photos!
I hope all goes very smoothly for them as they make their journey across the states.
Hugs,
Kris

Boy, do I know the feeling of seeing your loved ones drive away!
The hole and sadness in your heart is real. Sending you support and prayers.

Oh, that's a long journey! British Columbia is so beautiful. Take it easy today. It's hard to say goodbye to grands.

Oh, what sweeties! I'm sure it was very difficult to watch them drive away. I just had to chuckle at Cedar's comment--he had no idea what he was in for! :-)

What a sweet and bittersweet post. I know what it is like to miss precious babies! Thanks for coming by my blog. I loved meeting you. I will look for a follow option.
Have a wonderful Sunday,

I felt the tears running down my cheeks as I read this. I know what goodbyes do, and I know how many miles between them and you, mean too. Distances can be so difficult. I will pray for them as they begin a whole new adventure in life.

Those look like some sweet little redheads. I am partial to redheads having 2 of my own.
