wonderful wedding weekend (www)

With the help of friends I now have a few wedding photos to share.
Actually I have 346 but I will edit them down to a few many!

It was a perfect 4 days and Lindsay and Blaine had their dream wedding.
They put a lot of thought into every detail so all went just as they wanted.

The venue was perfect as both families stayed right at the inn
in the six guest rooms and had a lot of fun together.

We had lots of planned and spontaneous events to keep us busy . . .
The bride’s family rented a boat for the day on Thursday
so we spent 7 hours cruising around Seneca lake.

Thursday ended with a family dinner at Chili’s.

Friday morning some of us went hiking through Watkins Glen and others
at Montour Falls. The hike at Watkins Glen is a 1 ½ mile climb!
Although I did make it to the top I had my doubts along the way.

After the rehearsal we had a South of the Border Picnic
for all out of town guests (70+) at Sperr Memorial Park.
It was a beautiful setting and everyone enjoyed this relaxing get-together.

Both mornings we had wonderful breakfasts at the Inn
which grounded us and offered a great start to our days.

The morning of the wedding the boys “came over to play” ~ sports on the lawn,
swim, canoe, and have lunch. I pretended I was rich for a day in that
beautiful Inn with family and friends all around.

Some of the women met at the park for a wedding yoga session but
I don’t have any photos of that relaxing beginning to a hectic day.
The girls got their hair done, toured a few wineries and had lunch at the Inn.

The chapel was a short walk through the woods which turned out to add so much charm. It was a bit of a chuckle when two school buses (our less expensive version of limos) pulled up and everyone walked across the yard and into the woods.

The reception was perfect in every way.
At least it appeared that way to me so I asked that if anyone had
something bad to say they were not allowed to tell me.
It is my own little fantasy world.

The bride and groom were so calm all weekend and it was wonderful
to have all our children together again after two years.

This group of youngsters love dancing so kept the dance floor hopping
all evening. It even encouraged the oldsters to join in, especially my husband!

When I get a few photographs from the photographer I'll share them as well.

This beautiful couple looks like they had the most perfect wedding and weekend. Your pictures are awesome. The reception picture looks like something you would see in a magazine. Best wishes to the bride and groom!

I cannot express to you just how much I enjoyed each and every one of these gorgeous pictures. Being in the midst of wedding plans for our daughter, I found this to be so interesting. So much attention to detail was given to every event. The Inn where you stayed was beautiful! The reception place was too. Actually, so was every picture. Thank you so much for taking the time to share the pictures and sharing the comments. I bet you feel a bit sorry that it is all over. I wish the new couple many joys in life.
