five kinds of friends

My June 2013 issue of Real Simple has an article called
"Five Friends Everyone Should Have"

I am already picturing where each of my friends fit into this list . . .

the comic relief
{laughing helps you get through so very many challenges}

the challenger
{the ability to be brutally honest}

the loyalist
{she hangs in there even when you are not at your best}

the life coach
{recharges your emotional battery and reinvigorates you}

the risk taker
{an adventurous one who nudges you out of our status qou}

Now I am also wondering which kind of friend am I?

I guess, if we're lucky, we sometimes find a couple of true friends who are all of the above. :)

Yes, I agree. I have always loved having long lasting friendships with my women friends. And each has something different and special and unique to offer. And I hope that I am the kind of friend to them, that they need too.
Hugs,
Kris

Great photo and great list. Sometimes friends can be there in different needs/situations and fill different roles.

Looks like you guys are all great friends :)

Oh how fun! We all need these traits in our friends, that is for sure. I'd add one more...a good listener. :)
