I bought an ugly brown spice rack at the church rummage sale and
decided to follow some creative blogger ideas and spray paint it white.
My spices were all in a narrow cupboard in my kitchen island
and to see them I had to kneel down. Well . . . since I am
one year away from being old
it was getting harder and harder to get up
after finding the spice I needed.
I have been trying to keep fewer "things" on my counter
but I will make an exception for this spice rack.
It is a pleasure not to kneel down anymore.
Now . . . if you want a more creative way to use
an updated spice rack visit this fun blog

Your "new" spice rack looks great on the counter! It's amazing what a little spray paint can do, isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteYou need three more spices to complete the set!
ReplyDeleteWell done...fresh, functional, and convenient! There's a lot to be said for convenience in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteI love painting everything white! It never fails to make things look bright and clean! I checked out mamie jane's blog too. Wonderful ideas!
Thanks for sharing!
Blessings!
Your spice rack looks just like new and just perfect on your counter top! I couldn't tell but do you also have "Spice of Life"? :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that's great! I'm always amazed when I paint something old like that...it has a whole new life!
ReplyDeleteLove the power of white spray paint! Having your spices out and easy to grap is so much better then our disorganized system we have going! Looks great :)

Amanda suggested you fill up the spice rack.
ReplyDeleteWhen you go to Bongkok you can find plenty of interesting spices to bring home.
I LOVE HOW IT LOOKS!
ReplyDeleteWELL DONE!

Another creative project on your part. It looks so good. I like giving new life to old pieces.
ReplyDeleteGreat solution for your spices! Since I have an extra drawer beside the stove, I've kept mine in the drawer!
