I am thinking maybe a Christmas gift . . .
since our grandson will be back from Cambodia by December.
He certainly wouldn't need it there where they have just two seasons
"hot and hotter"

ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely quilt. I have a feeling the first of many. My mom loves making baby quilts, and they are so useful, even in warmer climates. You can throw them on the floor and let the baby play on them, or for older kids, wrap them up in it while watching a movie or reading to them.

ReplyDeleteGood for you! It looks wonderful!!! Rail Fence was my very first quilt too. I had visited a quilt guild with a friend, and won a raffle of fabric. I went back and learned to do the Rail Fence block, like yours, and made my very first crib sized quilt. I hand quilted it, and loved every aspect of doing this!!! I was hooked!!!

That came out really nice, good for you, now you can go on to make any number of things. I can make the quilt part, just never learned how to put a binding on.
