a baby for Christmas

Today
this little family will arrive
for a two week visit
{after a 27 hour journey from Cambodia}



A Christmas blessing that brings tears to my eyes
every time I think about holding this sweet little fellow.

    I can relate to having loved ones far away. I'm so happy for you as ours will not make it home this year. Enjoy! I know you will!

    Two weeks of snuggles, damp hugs, new words, morning cuddles and nighttime stories - two weeks of breakfast chaos and late afternoon fussiness that a grandma is so happy to soothe. Two weeks of rest for the young parents and storing up of memories for everyone. Merry Christmas!

    My sweet girl and her family (with my twin 6 month grandbabies) are moving away after Christmas. Not as far as Cambodia but it hurts all the same -- doesn't it?
